A seasoned international business executive with experience working in more than 50 countries, I have lived in Miami, Brazil, Hong Kong, the UAE and New York City working as a restructuring and distressed-business advisor, a partner in global law firms (Weil, Gotshal & Manges, Holland & Knight and Reed Smith) and a business consultant and investor in developed and frontier locations. I have significant experience in the United States, Iraq, Afghanistan, throughout the Middle East and in Asia in areas of defense & security, life support contracts, transportation-asset financing, and infrastructure development. I have been the lead advisor on restructurings and liquidations and transactions valued at many billions of dollars involving aircraft and vessel financing, leases & sales, airport construction, transportation projects and port development, re-developments, and long-term concessions. As a team leader, I have developed millions of dollars of business in multiple countries and industries, including the defense, private-security, aviation, shipping, logistics and infrastructure sectors. I have developed, trained, and managed cross-cultural teams spread out over multiple offices and jurisdictions.  I have a B.A. and J.D. from the University of Michigan, an M.B.A. from the University of Miami and an Executive Education Certificate from The Harvard Business School.
